The tram line doesn’t extend as far as Old Town. If you want to visit attractions like The Castle, The Royal Mile, or Arthur’s Seat, you’ll need to take a bus. Fortunately, buses are very regular and reliable. The nearest bus stop to Leith Hospital is Cables Wynd (1 min walk). Cables Wynd has a lot of bus routes, but if you want a fuller selection you can walk a little further to Foot of the Walk.
